Kid’s loved!! – Very good chrome book for the price

Cheap, nice screen, not fast though. – The screen quality is great, and it has HDMI to connect to a larger screen. It’s low on processing power though, and can struggle with multiple tabs open.

Works great but on its last update – I really like how this chromebook operates, but when I purchased it I thought I was getting a 2021 model because that’s how it was advertised. As soon as I turned it on a message appeared that it was on its last update and would not get anymore. This if course includes security updates. At the time my desktop pc was in the shop and I needed a computer so decided it was worth the price I paid. I suppose it will be good as a back up computer for watching youtube or scrolling fb, but not much more since it is vulnerable. If I had known this I wouldn’t have purchased it.

Couldn’t be updated and couldn’t reliably load Google Docs – I ordered this to stand in for my Macbook Air that needs repairs and liking the idea of a recycled computer. I thought maybe Amazon had stopped selling 2018 models that could not be updated, but I was wrong. I couldn’t reliably load Drive or work on a doc, which made this computer unusable for me. Ended up buying a really impressive Lenovo Chromebook for about $10 more that was manufactured this year. Keep shopping; there are definitely better Chromebook options on Amazon!

I need to make sure this will last 1 year – As soon as it fully booted a warning said it was no longer able to get security and system updates. If my son can still use this until school is over in June, I guess that is OK given the lie price. I am researching this.
