Not Bad for Fifteen Bucks… – …which is what I paid for it after using an Amazon gift card. I needed a little laptop to get me through the next week while my good one is in the shop, and this does the job. It’s not perfect – came with a large scratch on the screen (barely visible once you turn it on), is rather bulky/heavy for it’s size, has no touchscreen (no biggie for me) and what’s with this outdated Chrome OS that keeps yelling instructions at me, lol?? Aside from that, it’s fine for a week. No major complaints.

Review – You get what you pay for. Nothing fancy just a basic computer to do basic things.

It’ll get you going – I really didn’t expect much in ordering this computer. I only need it for writing and use my phone and tablet for anything else. It’s not gonna go super fast, and if you’re coming from looking at your iPhone you might be startled by the display quality in comparison *BUT* the battery life is excellent, for me, lasts a couple days without charge, but it doesn’t cause damage to leave it plugged in, just fyi. *Very* lightweight, I love that, and small in size… this is not a clunker of a laptop. If the keyboard was backlit I’d throw 5 stars on the board, but fortunately I have a little light I can use when writing in bed. You might be skeptical about a hundred dollar laptop but trust, if there’s just a couple simple tasks you need to do, you’re not out here editing movies and developing your photography portfolio, this computer will work great.

Bargain – I got mine refurbished, from a school, somewhere across the country. Chrome OS is fine out of the box, and you can do some basic browsing and editing. Do not expect much beyond that, and you’ll be good. Optionally, you can use the Chromebook, for learning Linux. I installed “Gallium Bismuth OS”, specifically, for this laptop model – which – was made, for it, in mind. As of September 2022, the Chrome OS for this laptop has stopped receiving updates, but the Linux upgrade has not!

Good! – This was purchased just about a year ago for my kids for school. As of today, the only issues I have had have been the charge cords. The cords come in two pieces (as most do) and the thicker cord that plugs into the outlet doesn’t last long. I have purchased a total of 6 of these computers and only 3 of the charge cords work now. It’s a bit inconvenient having to share charge cords, but the computers themselves work good. I have, however, had to replace a charge port in one of the computers, as it had fallen apart. The other computers have held together just fine tho (some of them being used by kids aged 5-9, which is really saying something), and have been dropped countless times, as well as being hijacked by a 2yo regularly, and still work fine. They are SOLID computers for sure!

Nice computer – This is a nice laptop. I bought it for my 12 year old son. He uses the same computer at school, so he’s already familiar with it. My only complaint is that the screen does have a scratch on it.
