Just know – keyboard is not the same as original M15 – I bought this cause it appeared to be a decent deal to replace my 3 yr old earlier version of the same Alienware laptop. Therefore my surprise to find the keyboard is lacking the numeric keypad of the original. I’m not an accountant, so not a deal breaker, but I do miss it.

Incredible gaming in a premium yet portable machine – I have had many laptops over the years but I specifically wanted something for gaming this time around. I am generally a console gamer, but as an active duty sailor I wanted something that was portable that had premium quality aesthetics and would stand the test of time for a few years. I dove deep into the technical workings of laptop gaming and spent countless hours trying to figure out what would be ideal for what I was looking for. I even told myself I wasn’t getting a Dell, but look what happened…I got a dell. And I have absolutely zero regrets. The GPUs responsiveness and the gorgeous effects from the RTX 3070 are just top notch. I couldn’t recommend it anymore.

This laptop is complete garbage *Edit* – Where do I start? From day one after going through the typical BS updating setting things to the way I like things all the jazz. This pc has froze on me over a dozen times in 6 days. Literally can be anything looking through photos? Crash force shut down. Trying to edit videos? Crash force shut down. Trying to watch YouTube? Crash force shut down. Alienware command center updating? Crash force shut down. This thing is louder then a fighter jet taking off on the run way. This is the worse experience I have ever had with a 2000 dollar paper weight. Alienware claims they are the top in the industry what a joke of a claim that is. I wouldn’t recommend to is laptop to my worse enemy my iPhone 12 can process faster then this thing and it DOES NOT CRASH this thing is going back first thing tomorrow morning. Do your self a favor and get the newest iPad which can do everything this thing does but better absolutely unacceptable

Mostly perfect – Works well, I haven’t had issues for the most part except one fairly concerning one. A few weeks ago it wouldn’t turn on at all, and after doing some searching online I found out it was because if the battery. Removing the back cover, unplugging the battery from the motherboard. And then plugging it back in fixes the issue, but it is somewhat concerning. It’s also somewhat dangerous (for the laptop, not the person doing the fixing) because if you’re not careful you could break either the plug or the port, and also if the laptop hasn’t been drained of charge there could be some other damage as well. In general its a good laptop, but if you’re not confident in being able to do this then it might not be worth it since you’d have to send it in for repairs which can cost a lot, and it is apparently a widespread issue so I think it’s probably something anyone buying the laptop should be aware of

Nice machine, required a motherboard replacement when power button did not work – Shortly after purchasing the machine, the power button would fail to turn on the computer. Disappointing, however, the Dell support did well by us. After troubleshooting over the phone, they sent a tech to replace the motherboard. We have not experienced issues with the power button since.

Great Gaming Laptop – I’ve had this for a couple months now and it’s very much meeting my expectations. I do some gaming but I also write databases and some other functions on this. This far the only very minor inconvenience I have is the noise when the fans kick on, but with the cooling it needs to do for the components it’s reasonable. I wish it had a touch screen, but that obviously was not a deal breaker. Having never used an Alienware computer before, I can honestly say I’m impressed. Makes me wish I had invested more into them earlier in life
