Budget tablet – The tablet works fairly well overall. It was purchased primarily for reading and for this is does well. The screen quality is probably the weakest part along with very modest specs for RAM and Flash. The resolution is average and the view angles are not that great. If you are too far from center when viewing the colors fade.

Lowered expectations – I wasn’t expecting much in ways of performance but I just couldn’t do it with the screen. It only has one good (I use good loosely) viewing angle and that’s straight on, any thing else and the back light bleeds through. I was going in trying to replace a fire 7 7th edition to get away from the Amazon ecosystem, but this similarly priced “pure” android tablet couldn’t match the 5 year old screen. I did not receive this tablet free as all the other 5 star reviews have.

Basic model; probably more for a child or young teen – I am spoiled by my Moto Android because it uses my fingerprint to open the screen and several of the apps. This tablet does not, but I kept on trying. Lol.

Know the tablet’s strengths/weaknesses – This is a small tablet without the most powerful processor, but it can still do a lot of things. We were able to use most apps (not Roblox) on it although they did not load very fast. The screen and image quality were great. It works well for streaming videos or browsing the net.

If you want a highly portable device that ISN’T your phone which you can use for streaming movies/TV, checking email, sending out angry Tweets, and using basic apps, this fits the bill. It’s larger than the average phone, so video is a little more enjoyable to watch, but it’s not so big that it can’t fit in a jacket pocket, if you want to go portable.
