Good Replacement Battery for APC UPS – This is a good replacement battery for APC UPS backup power supplies. I gave it four stars because the one I replaced leaked oil when I removed it. I have replaced the battery many times in APC UPS backup power supplies and never have a problem before. This comment refers to the one I replaced, not the new one. Perhaps there was a manufacturing defect in the old one. This incident will not change my use of the batteries when I need a replacement. They are very easy to install and usually last at least three years.

APC Battery replacement – Original equipment, but more amp hours which is good, way cheaper than replacing entire surge protector & battery backup. States recycle shipping included, but it is not included. Easy install!

I purchased a new APCRBC124 for my BR1500G because my ups said the battery was bad (an “X” on the battery icon) – This is a long review. I have re-written it based on what I have discovered. Hope it will help you if you have the problem I had.

Good replacement. Hopping one day it will be lithium-ion only. – Lead is really outdated, but I had too. Lithium-ion is lighter and packs more power. We just need an official structure to recycle well the lithium-ion chemistry since, soon it will be everywhere.

Expensive for what you get, sure, but they make it very easy – I got the 9Ah version intended for the BX1500M, and used it in a BX1350M instead. Same dimensions exactly, same voltage, just slightly more capacity than the one intended for a BX1350M. Works like a charm! Takes all of 10 seconds to replace. Don’t even have to unplug anything, just tip the UPS on it’s side, pop open the cover on the bottom (no tools required), pull tabs to take the old battery out, then slide the new one in. Easy!
