My computer was immaculate. Good deal! – There was absolutely nothing wrong with my computer battery life was as described no dents no scratches nothing. If you’re looking for a budget quality computer or you just like the size of the old MacBook I do recommend it.

Not what I expected – I know this is a refurbished laptop, but the battery life and the way the laptop was so loose is why I returned it. The battery would heat up after 5 minutes of searching, or anything; 5 minutes. When I open and close the laptop it was so loose, I thought I’d break it. When I took it into Apple, basically they told me to replace it instead of spend that money to replace it, for a new laptop. I was disappointed overall.

Battery life sucks – I had read reviews about the battery life not being great on the refurbished Macs and they’re right. After full charge you don’t even get an hour of use and it needs plugged back in. Sad

Excellent MacBook – I was worried after reading mixed reviews if I should purchase it or not. However, because it was backed by Amazon Return policy I decided to take a chance. I completely love it! It comes in a generic white box with a new mac charger. It does not have any other ports except for the power port. The condition was extremely good. Compares to a brand new MacBook. It turned on well and fast. I created my own profiles, installed the new system update, etc. just like a new laptop. I haven’t had any issues with the “heating up” problem that I read about. It gets warm, but I’ve had other laptops and all of them get warm when using for long periods of time, so the warmth that I get is considered normal for the amount of time that I leave it on. I use this computer for literally everything. College, work, homework, research, random web browsing. Speakers are great too. Added a picture, excuse my sticker and my keyboard cover, I also covered my screen, but for reference it is great.

Not Impressed – After reviewing my laptop everything worked fine, or so I thought. 2 days later my laptop will not charge and I am not sure if it is the laptop itself or the charger. This is very stressful as I am a student with a lot of homework and was planning to get it done with a working laptop and charger.

A little rougher than anticipated – I have purchased renewed in the past. This MacBook was in a little rougher condition than I expected. Besides scratches there was a chip on the screen and the hinge is very loose. Seems to work ok so far though. Glad for 90 day guarantee from Amazon Justin case.

Update – my computer cant hold a charge. – This review is based off the first hour I’ve had with the computer. When it arrived it was dead but it’s charging now with no issue and can hold battery. This computer is flawless. No scratches, all the keys work and are intact, no damage at all. Feels and looks like a new computer. I’m amazed. I feel like I got a 1600$ laptop for $300…. OH YA I DID !
