Grear laptop and quick service – Received the refurbished laptop and was excited everything looked so good. One small dent was on the top cover. The power cord was not working correctly. After immediately contacting Kangaroo Products they sent out a new power source and cord. I was up and working in 2 days.

Refurbished unit works well – Laptop was very clean and works well. My only complaint is that there was not really enough packing material in the box by half, or the box was oversized. The box was crushed and beat up on arrival, but the laptop seems okay so far.

battery was significantly deficient. – Battery less than 80% capacity. Drains v. quickly. Has to be replaced (by Apple) for $200! Exterior case in good condition. Display was not the non-glare Retina. Did not pick up on the actual age (2014) thought it was 2015 or later. Feel the unit was overpriced for what it was. Memory, SSD, processor ok.

Refurbished = Buyer beware – The laptop did look okay…no scratches etc. I admit that I do not view computers as “friendly”. I use them as a tool box with tools such as downloads and/or apps for my use. Setting up the computer was a real challenge. I had no problem with my Mac Mini so I did not anticipate anything to “awful”. The passwords that Apple asks, there are just a ton of them and a different one for each something or other, they were not remembered. I had to use new passwords all the time. The OS was 4 generations old…..not exactly refurbished now is it? I decided that I did not need any more grief….after a few days of trying. The Apple tech. I spoke to on the cell phone was just great, he helped me return the laptop to “original” and updated the OS to the current one in use.So I did return the laptop.
