Happy with purchase – Bought my refurbished MacBook Pro from these guys last March. Very happy with product. Only issue so far is my screen occasionally scrambles for a few seconds – especially when I open laptop after putting it to sleep. It always bounces right back to the normal desktop screen and doesn’t seem to have any effect on performance… just a weird occasional glitch.

But with Amazon’s 90 days warranty and DoubleDay’s 30-day free replacement guarantee and affordable price tag, I figured I have very little to risk. Upon receipt of device which was delivered promptly and packaged really well, I was pleasantly surprised that its physical condition is nearly new and that any distinguishable blemish are microscopic in nature. The true test, of course, is will it perform like a brand new new MacBook Pro with 2.7 ghz, quad i7 processor, 16 GB memory, 512 GB SSD and 15” Retina display? I am happy to report that it’s blazing fast, no hiccups and runs like a champ. I even waited a while to write this review so I can use the device thoroughly with my daily tasks and even try to run down its battery just to make sure the battery charge will hold…… and it did with a lot a charge to spare. The device came with a brand new power unit and I’m almost certain that the battery was replaced with a new one. Bravo to DoubleDex and Amazon….. I am Amazed!

Get “ error” when trying to get software IOS 15.xx upgrade. – See “headline” above. Basically can’t upgrade to new IOS. Should I return item?

Basically brand new – Computer came in basically brand new shape. I am very pleased with it so far and couldn’t be happier although, I thought it would come with a new battery but instead the battery had 73 cycles on it already. All in all a great computer for the money.

Excellent condition, wrong operating system – This laptop arrived looking essentially brand-new, but I ordered a laptop running High Sierra, which is what the listing claimed was installed on this machine. Lo and behold, when I turned on the laptop, it was running Catalina, and for my purposes, a 64-bit OS is useless. I had to spend an extra $100 to get the OS removed and restore the software I needed. Other than that irritating and expensive hassle, I’m very pleased with the machine itself. Shipping was fast and secure, but good luck confirming with the seller any details about the item itself.

Buy refurbished for your sanity – Seriously, with all computer companies and Apple in particular unable to deliver in a timely fashion? Buy refurbed. You can get a fancy new one – if you still need it – when they unscrew their supply chains.

Nice turn around – This is my 2nd try with their 15″ Mac Book Pro as the first order they sent was not in any condition as the rubber cushion seal around the screen was peeling apart with many sections missing.
