Do not buy from this vendor – Everything was great for 4 months and then the 1TB ssd just died. Asus stated that this did not come with a it. Claim was escalated now waiting. Returned to Asus and no repair was done the SSD has obviously failed and because it was “optional” they dont want to repair or replace it. The seller has not returned phone calls.

Great for college research! – I had a 2014 model, and it was great at first. Then I went to college and needed an upgrade and boy ol boy did this laptop make it feasible. It had to process a 66-page research paper along with 30 different tabs open on Microsoft edge. If you’re tired of having a slow laptop, I would strongly suggest upgrading to the 32GB ram upgrade like what I got.

Very solid laptop, great bargain – I love this laptop! I got it to replace an older one, well a few years older, and have loved it since I got it. Run into no issues what so ever since having it. For any game I have put on it I have not been disappointed so far. I am not a hard core gamer though, but still works great. I did but that extra cool fan that lays under it that sold with it, partially to have practical application and partially to have the cool fan lights!

Noisy fan. – Lots of reviews including mine says it’s standard, substandard fan sounds like a tractor. I’ve tried all the YouTube fixes but its looks like I’ll damage the fan if I try to lubricate it myself. I’ll never buy an Asus laptop again!
