Product description is misleading and deceptive. – False advertising, this laptop’s description says 1 USB 2.0 port and 2 USB 3.0 ports. It only has 2 total and both are 2.0

A good basic laptop so far. – This is my third ASUS computer, if this is half as good as they were it’s a steal of a deal. I just wish ASUS would bring back their compact netbook laptops and with Linux as O.S. that one was awesome for me as a traveler.

So far so good – Perfect little workhorse. Great for office stuff (emails, Excel, and Word), surfing the web, and streaming. Don’t expect to game on this. This wasn’t built for that.

Yeah – Be aware that it does not come with Windows Pro, they give you the Windows Pro Education. But that’s not a big deal unless you like Cortana. The non-touch version has no SD card reader and no extra camera above the keyboard. The RAM memory is onboard, you cannot replace or add more. Also the volume/brightness keys are not in the arrows, what makes it counter-intuitive if you want to switch volume at night since the keyboard has no backlit.

Thank you COVID. (Did I actually say that?) (Read on!) – So, COVID got remote classrooms functional and some laptop makers to provide an inexpensive solution for a Windows based, web browser, laptop with “all school day life”. To quote the description: “US military-grade durability, a tamper-resistant/spill-resistant keyboard, rubber-lined edges, and corners to reduce the impact of knocks and bumps to protect critical internal” and NOT kill a couple hundred dollar laptop.
