Big change from a regular laptop – My Acer Aspire E15 was beginning to give me problems and I was looking for another. I decided to check Chromebooks as a change. I was impressed with the write-ups and decided on the ASUS C423. It was fortunate Amazon was providing a payment plan which made it easier on my SS check and I could get it quickly.

Worked for a month or two – I bought this as a simple second laptop, and for netflix, and it worked great, until the first time it needed to update the software and it went black. Took several attempts to get it to come back. A month goes by, another update was needed, same thing- black screen, refused to boot up. It took unplugging the battery cable to get it to come on again…
