Somewhat Good – Laptop was really neat and good until it came upon the Windows 11 updates. Once the updates installed and the system restarted, the computer got stuck on the BIOS screen- twice after 2 hard shutdowns. It wouldn’t allow me to hit any “okay” boxes on the screen. After a third attempt, the laptop restarted fine, but I’m uncertain if I want to keep it.

Love, Love, Love This Laptop!! – I have owned many laptops and this one I bought as an extra for me to work with, access my main laptop and have a touch screen to play with. I love this ASUS VivoBook 15 Laptop and think it’s an incredible value plus, I am receiving a warranty extension from ASUS for my feedback! I would totally recommend this laptop!

Can’t go wrong… – Does everything as advertised. I ordered mine with 12GB RAM/512GB ssd, but got 20GB/1TB ($200 upgrade). So, to say the least, l’m very happy. For $600, I have no complaints. I checked New Egg before I ordered, Amazon had a much better price. I also bought a Canon TR7020 wireless all in one Inkjet to go with it. An unbeatable combo for under $1,000.

The battery life is less than half that it states. – Upon starting the laptop, there were screen issues when you tried to use the touch screen. Maybe because it was cold? IDK. it finally stopped after about 20 minutes of use. I used it to watch a lecture online for an hour and the battery was drained. It was fully charged when I started watching, so I have to keep it plugged in. Other than those two things, It has performed well.

Good Laprop – But major issue – Specs are the laptop are good, just one issue I needed to do a system reset and it kept on failing. So I put in windows boot media and could not find the hard disk. Called Asus they were no help, they advised to return the machine.

nice but some issues – I expected this laptop to be kind of cheaply made based on all the features I was getting on it. 20GB ram, 1TB SSD, great laptop though but it does have some minor issues. Right out of the gate I can say the visual display is just ok, Nothing fantastic. But it’s decent enough. Better than my older laptop that I’m moving from. It’s a cheap like plastic framing to it. When I tried to use the SD media card, it got stuck in the laptop, practically torn it up while just trying to get it out. I haven’t tried to see if I could use it since. That is just in the first 24 hours of use. The light up keys is a nice touch, its easier for me to use in the evenings now compared to what I was using. Windows 11 is a learning curve but it’s ok. So far it loads very quick and shuts down just as quick so I’m happy with that as well. Just those minor few things, but other wise great laptop.

Good, basic Windows 11 Laptop except for one problem – The Asus X515 does the job except in one area. The keyboard is cheaply made, and the keys are hard to read because the letters and numbers are in grey on a black background rather than white on a black background. Since this laptop does not have backlit keys, you must be working in medium to bright light conditions to use the keyboard effectively. Just dumb on the part of Asus. Hard to understand what they were thinking when they designed the keyboard.
