Performance and productivity – I use it as my software development machine, it is great for productivity(the screen pad) that’s when I dock anything that I constantly monitor but I don’t need it to take up screen on the main display or my external monitor, it really helps in keeping things organized and clutter free. But it’s not a cool laptop though, temp runs pretty warm sometimes, maybe it’s my settings , I have never used a beefy laptop before something with a dedicated graphics card, other than the warm temp, very solid laptop 10/10 recommend

i7 model is a decent value – New update: This model series has been continued through Intel 12th-gen CPUs and has now featured anywhere from rtx 3060 through 3070 ti and 3080. A 12th gen i7 will utterly destroy the 10th and 11th gen CPUs in certain work like pro 3D rendering, but the older models are still fine for less demanding work. I still have my 10th gen model and everything still works on it. When on battery I use a single screen at 1080p, when plugged in I use both screens at 4K. Windows remembers my setup so just turning the 2nd screen on or off changes the resolution too. Standard mode is quiet and does almost everything I need. Performance and “Full Speed” modes increase the power and cooling by a good margin, enough to speed up some loads by 20% or more. It’s been a good laptop.

Nice laptop, but not a desktop replacement – I bought this laptop because of the second, albeit smaller, screen in cases where I’m not using it at a desk and don’t have it attached to another monitor. I wanted this laptop to replace my current desktop PC. The screens on the laptop both look really nice, especially the main OLED display. It games pretty well on the main display too.

Very nice but hot! – I love it but can’t keep it cool, I put it on a laptop cooling forced air wedge and still throttles In games. I’m attempting to use it as a desktop replacement but needs more usb c ports.

Love it – Runs like a beast. So do the fans. Stoked with my purchase. I don’t use the second screen nearly as much as I expected to, but it’s still nice to have when I need it.

A Powerful Work Laptop Suited for Remote Work and Gaming – The ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo is well suited for people who split time between the office and client sites. The built-in secondary display helps keep videoconference or productivity applications visible while reserving the main screen for your principal applications. The GPU is beefy enough to keep both screens snappy or provide reasonable frame rates for current videogames. For downsides, the keyboard takes some getting used to, and the right-side touchpad is… touchy. Neither input device is as predictable as others I have used on high-end laptops. As with all Windows PCs, beware of ASUS/Microsoft making assumptions about your Office 365 subscriptions and immediately assigning these to your new machine. This is either a blessing or a curse, depending on your needs.

Fantastic Laptop but NOT 120hz Display – There are serveral laptops in the Zenbook Duo UX582 series that feature a 120hz display but this is NOT one of them. I did not know that the 120hz display was not a feature that persisted through the entire line. In fact I didn’t know of any OLED displays that were not 120hz capable.
