Amazingly Flawed. – This laptop would be the best creative laptop available if not for a major oversight. I can’t stress enough how beautifully the laptop is made and how amazing it is to have the second screen. Everything feels top notch and the laptop performs more than adequately. It does get too hot for any thought of using it on your lap and the battery life is subpar at best. It’s also extremely expensive for what you get under the hood. A comparative DELL Alienware gaming laptop with double the memory, a better CPU and GPU and a 17in 4k screen is cheaper. That’s how great this laptop performs when it comes to productivity, it punches way above its cost/value ratio. I’ve spent nearly a month trying to see if I can just live with the flaw. What flaw you ask?

Once the Windows 11 update ran, I suspect a driver for the screen 2 touch functionality was undated rendering it useless, after update touching screen #2 registered as a right most selection on screen 1. Called ASUS support, after some work they recommended we return to them for repair, or return to Amazon. We requested replacement from Amazon which went well. Problem laptop #2 identical issue with Windows 11 update. Spoke with Asus at length, this seems to be a Win11 driver issue vs. hardware. Asus did very little in terms of working with us to resolve, update or even check drivers. They very quickly offered the same options to return to them or return to Amazon. We returned to Amazon and ended up buying a Dell XPS at Best Buy that we are very happy with. We are extremely disappointed and I want to warn potential buyers. If you go with Windows 10 you may have better luck.
