Still have a lot of bugs – WiFi card failed, but I had to send over 50 minutes for the tech to go through his standard touble shooting. Promise to send a return box with prepaid FedEx mailer. Never came. Emailed the Austin Office, the tech who eventually sent me the box works from India. I can’t understand Indian English when he left voicemail. iPhone couldn’t translate either. Depot Houston returned laptop Inspiron 3525. Reload all apps, took time. Few days later MS speech to typing failed, no wifi, then try again later. A pice of crap. Received instructions to reset laptop from Indian tech. No help. Return laptop back to Depot Houston. Received email they need me, will call ASAP, wait anxiously, never called 2-3-4 days never called. Told Indian tech I wasted the entire month of August. Finally, she agreed to issue a refund. Dell introduced this laptop in Feb, 2022. I bought it in May, 2022. It still have a lot of bugs. Dell software not talking to Win 11? I don’t know. Not sure if I would buy another Dell Inspiron. My 12 year old HP G62, like the Voyager spacecrafts still running, but need an USB keyboad to help with some keys not working. But, it is a good laptop. Try HP.

Good laptop – Works well except the sound went out after 3 months. I went to the Dell website and downloaded a different driver which seemed to fix the problem.

Heat and fan are horrible – The laptop sounds like an airplane after only 10 minutes of light use, and puts off a ton of heat. Performance is acceptable, but brand new and with very light usage (streaming video) I shouldn’t be hearing the fans over the streaming content. Also the responses that dell puts about cleaning, updating bios etc, already done and verified and still a problem. I would not recommend wasting your money on this.

Battery wouldn’t hold a charge – I have bought 20+ Dell computers over many years and this was the first one that had a major defect. The laptop acted as if the battery was not connected. It worked fine when plugged into the charger. I am still a Dell fan.

Zero Quality Control – Never Buy a Dell – tl;dr — I returned this laptop after owning it for a week. It kept deciding it no longer wanted to see an internet connection.

Terrible quality and good luck getting your money back – 4 weeks into school and the laptop’s hinges caused the screen to all most rip off when opening, apparently that’s a common issue due to the hinges being of poor quality and build. Customer care won’t refund or give me partial credit due to 30 day policy. But don’t worry I’ve been waiting 2 weeks for a repair now that doesn’t seem to have an exact date when they’ll show up, throw in some confusing messages about when they were suppose to show up and now I have to buy a new laptop even though this one’s brand new because I can’t fall behind in classes… more money down the drain thanks dell….

Extremely good value – The Inspiron 3525 has great specs for the price and the 120Hz display alone makes it superior to competitors. Most quality laptops with a 250+GB SSD and a 120Hz display will run you $700+. This model is made entirely of plastic, but that’s irrelevant to performance and also more scratch and fingerprint resistant than aluminum.
