Just a headache from day 1. – I purchased this computer about 2 months back. I could not use it for my music lessons online (my teacher cannot hear me playing the instrument when on skype), tried all the recommendations online and it did not really work. I called Dell for support (within a week of purchase) and the only thing the person could do for me for to suggest I get a paid support service from them (mind you I am still under warranty).

You can do better at this price point – I’ve had this for a month. Battery life is good. Performance is fine not great. My biggest problem with this is that the thin body of the laptop bends in a way that impinges on the touchpad such that the left/right buttons gets stuck. Initially the stock charger wasn’t being recognized and the battery life meter was inaccurate, but that went away. You can do better for a thousand dollars. 6.5/10
