Arrived as it was described – but problem with windows region and language – This PC appears to be delivered as described in the literature. One problem I experienced was that the setup instructions didn’t match my experience. Windows wanted a region (United States in my case) and language (English – US in my case). But neither of those appeared to be available in the drop box. Amazon support contacted another group who resolved the problem, but it took several hours. Seems to be resolved now.

2nd system from this company with SSD Drive dying prematurely. – For a refurbished system, most of the internal hardware has been solid. I would rate this system higher, as the processor and amount of memory have been top notch, for the price range. However, the included no-named brand SSD Drive of questionable reliability and/or age, has died in less then 4 months. And this system replaced another system, from this specific company, that had the same problem of the included SSD drive dying in 14 months. A name brand SSD has lasted over 5 years and counting in my main system. So this is the second system from this company, with cheap no-name brand, back to back SSD Drives dying prematurely. I literally had a replacement drive sitting on my desk for the past week, and didn’t get around to cloning and replacing the drive, before the SSD bricked. Not to mention the fact that the internal power connectors will not support a 2nd hard drive by unplugging the CD/ROM, requiring another computer to clone the drive. My advice: Replace the SSD drive ASAP, as it is a ticking time bomb. However, that seams to be the only weak point to this system, and a $30-$40 hard drive replacement makes the rest of this system perfect for casual users and internet surfers.

It’s a rocket ship on a pittance. – This is one of the best values I’ve ever purchased. I’m replacing an Optiplex 790 w/core i5, 16gb ram and 1TB HHD that I thought was fast until I bought this FOR LESS MONEY than I paid for my old refurb a year ago! I would advise kicking out the bad reviews because as someone else reported here, those are minor grievances that amount to zilch. Pulled off all my old equipment, wifi 6, wireless mouse, USB expansion, and backlit keyboard. It came with a chicklet keyboard which I love and a very decent mouse that’ll be backup. The display port to HDMI adapter is just as good as a HDMI port, no problem there! For the life of me I don’t understand the bad reviews, you can do anything with this unit. My wife is a laptop person and if I could talk her into a PC, I would buy another one for her. And she’s picky. Because of the price, you can afford the inexpensive upgrades that the newer computers come with and still be miles ahead of the game. This bad boy rocks, never mind the whiny bad reviews and get this, you will be hard pressed to find a better deal on a PC.

Ram card type – Installation was straightforward. HDMI adaptor and usb 2 wifi were included. After set up, it was up and running the Internet. Speed was good.

I would have given this RENEWED computer 5 stars but for one complaint .. the external “audio out” to speakers does not work. This alone would have made me return the merchandise, but fortunately I have a stand-alone audio interface I used to connect to my speakers. So, I will cut the “Renewal Company” that Amazon used some slack and keep the thing. Other than that I am satisfied with what I got. I’ve been using computers since they were 80 column card- processors so, if I do say so myself, I know of what I speak.

Excellent workhorse to use as a compute node, excellent value for money. – I got this to add an Intel node to my Raspberry Pi Kubernetes cluster so I could push amd64 workloads to it. I was able to start it up, upgrade Windows and get it all up to date. I partitioned the disk, loaded Ubuntu on half the disk and have it running all the time (two weeks now). No issues, does exactly what I wanted it to do. This is a compact system and runs quietly. This works great for me but some general things folks may want to know:
