Good tech support for a remote sales experience – I needed a 32 bit PC to run an antiquated application. This fit the bill. The original quit working shofrtly after I put it in service. The tech support called me, troubleshot the machine, and upon determining it needed replaced, walked me through the process. I just installed the replacement today. All went well so far!

Recieved Different model, no bkup disc wifi showed up 2wks l8tr. – Recieved unit, with No Recovery CD as advertised. Supposed to be a Dell 760 but, recieved a 580, an earlier model. No Wifi as advertised. Case dirty not even wiped down & missing rubber foot for standing, wobbles, waiting for supplier to respond regarding “New Wifi” that’s advertised.

Great refurbished old computer! – Bought this Dell Windows XP Pro 32 bit computer for my wife to play games on. Really fast operating speed! These computers (so I’ve read) have been dumped, en masse, from upgrading businesses. For only $97 and the OS already loaded for you, you can’t beat it! Teach your kid on something you’re not afraid to have broken! Turn on the firewall and download AVG anti-virus free: It’s the only AV I’ve found that still supports Windows XP.

Only 2 Stars Because…. – I ordered 2 of these. One worked fine, the other didn’t. The on/off button stuck the first time I pushed it and that was that. I called the seller and spent a good half hour on the phone. It was a few days past the 30 day return period and they insisted I return the unit for repair and then they would send it back to me. This seemed unreasonable as it took 18 days from the time I ordered to the time I received the computers, and I didn’t open them up to test them right away. By the time I discovered the problem I was about 5 days past the 30th day since I’d ordered. After much (polite) discussion a manager eventually agreed to take the bad unit back and refund my money. They emailed me a UPS label and I shipped the computer back to them. The 30 day return period SHOULD begin from the time the customer receives the product, in my opinion. The computer seems to be exactly as represented, but the difficulty dealing with the defective unit left an unpleasant after taste. The 3 stars is a reflection on their customer service more so than the product itself. Can’t say for sure I’m being fair, but that’s my evaluation.
