Bad deal – NOT good for Linux – Although some XPS 13 models are marketed toward Linux users, it is worth noting that audio in this device requires the installation of nonfree/binary firmware so audio will not work on certain GNU/Linux distributions.

I’ve always liked Dell laptops – I like the small size. It is thin but seems to be very sturdy. The edge-to-edge touch screen looks really good. I got 32 Gb memory, 2 Tb solid-state drive and Intel i7 processor. I’ve always owned Microsoft Office but for the first time I am leasing it. I use this laptop in my home office so I don’t pay attention to battery life. Overall, I am very satisfied.
