Excellent fast little machine – I am happy with most of the features. The lighted silver keys are not entirely clear and easy to use for the users that look at the keys to type. I wish the lighted keys were blue or even red. It is an excellent unit in the sun, the best I have seen. It is not loaded with too much annoying bloatware and you do not get too many spam mails from HP too.

Value for Money – Pretty Good Product. Gives the value for money and the laptop being slick helps a lot. Easy to carry around in hands or in the bag.

Technical and other descriptions are accurate. – This laptop is light and fast. The keyboard is responsive. Its backlit function starts working once you type, so I haven’t had to switch it on to get it to work. the fingerprint function is very efficient. If you have difficulty getting all your print in for one finger as it prompts you, it allows you to enter print for another finger. Once you do that, your access every time takes only a moment. You can type and do a lot of work with it for several hours without having to recharge. The ports are accessible and there are enough ports for all identified uses. I compared its specifications with those of the same model at HP and the match was perfect. In other words, it’s like ordering it at a much higher price directly from HP. I haven’t used it for gaming yet.

Do not buy this. – Except for this, I’ve never written a review on Amazon. I paid 877 dollars for this computer when I purchased it. I’ve only had this computer for not even a year yet and the volume button is falling off, my down arrow isn’t working, and my speakers are rarely working. I bought this computer for RN school because my classes, aside from clinical, are mostly online. Most of the time, my speakers fade in and out to the point where you can’t hear anyone talking, then it chooses to get really loud, then super quiet again. This computer has been well maintained, so it is not my fault. Save yourself the headache and go buy one from an actual store.

Its a little heavy for such a small laptop, but otherwise fine – Sometimes the touchscreen is a bit wonky, but otherwise no complaints. It is a bit heavy though so not as comfortably portable as I hoped. Otherwise it is consistent with the description overall.

Worth it. – I was skeptical because of the reviews but so far So good. The seller NEEDS to bubble wrap it at least, the hp box came inside a bigger one with no protection so the hp box definitely must have shifted and banged on the inside. That being said no harm was made to the hp box inside. Another thing, it HEATS UP. That’s the only reason I am not giving it 5 stars. However, this is common for small computers but SHEESH. I am investing in a cooling pad ASAP

Fantastic little laptop (if a bit pricy) – I was in the market for a new laptop – touchscreen, convertible, small enough to carry. After trying (and returning) less expensive laptops, I purchased the HP Envy. It’s exactly what I wanted. The screen is bright and high-res, the touchscreen works beautifully, the sound is B&O (i.e., wonderful). It’s totally portable, and the battery allows me to take it to multiple meetings without carting a charger. Plenty of memory, backlit keyboard, sturdy case. My only wish is that it was a bit cheaper, but overall, it’s a winner!
