Good for schoolwork only, not suitable for streaming – I got this computer in a bit of a rush after a house fire destroyed my old one (along with the rest of my belongings) because the Asus Chromebook I got for school worked pretty well for the price. The Chromebook I received this time was no where near as good, even though it cost more. The “no glare” screen just means that it is opaque, so if you want to read something while it’s bright out, good luck. My old Chromebook managed to run all the streaming services with almost no problem, maybe dropping to 720p occasionally, but that was about it. This one can’t even load a streaming application in under 3 minutes. HBO max videos are cropped down to fill only half of the screen for some reason, just a 1 inch black border around the entire thing. Almost never reaches 720p, it tends to hang out around 480p even with the highest quality selected. I would recommend this laptop to people that need something light to take to class and take notes on, maybe for research, but if a website has pop-ups you’ll be waiting all day for the site to load. The 8 key also doesn’t work, which is very frustrating, and the laptop heats up enough to fry an egg on the bottom, even when it’s on flat surface. 2/10 product, don’t waste your time on this one like I did.
