best value – This PC is amazing, I was looking for a very budget PC as before this I had a very very old duster that didnt support anything new. Everything came as advertised, and tech support was awesome as the power button on my unit broke during shipping, they promptly shipped out a replacement faceplate at no charge to me, after ensuring I knew how to replace it, they even sent diagrams and pictures with how to replace it.

Perfectly respectable for everyday (non-gaming) needs – I bought it to run pihole and a minecraft server on my network. It works just fine, runs quietly, and draws little power. I have a number of other projects I’d like to tack on to it such as a NAS, a TOR and VPN router, and maybe I can also set it up as an emulation/media box for the living room TV.

Update the Bios and it’s a heck of a deal for around $141 us. – After running all the windows updates and a few tweaks and then updating the BIOS ( it came with K01 V02.90 from 2013 ) to the one for Windows 8 that ends with a 99 I think since the ones for this with Win10 can’t be found on HP , if they were ever there?, and it runs pretty decent. Do some Googling before you just find a HP Bios and go updating though, some versions might not be bueno.

Can’t go wrong for what you paid. – The keyboard and mouse is something to be thrown away. besides that little issue, the computer works great. runs well for youtube and searching or browsing internet. spend hours and hours watching videos. but earlier this year and it runs like a champ for what I use it for. No gaming tried or video editing or high consuming bandwidth or programming taxing tried on this computer. audio jack works great for my headset, usb slots a plenty in the back and front, and it lays or stand option is nice to have. not noisy as previous one i own before.
