Left fan makes bad clicking noise, seller lowered price $50 right after purchase – I really like the computer. However, the left cooling fan makes a fast and bad clicking noise when it starts. Any slightest pressure on the bottom makes the fan stop. So something is up against the fan blades that shouldnt be. So thats disappointing to say the least. And then the seller dropped the price $50 right after purchase. Like right after. I politely inquired what the deal was, they just said market demand. I get it. Their our to make a buck. I’m not made of money though. Which is why I bought a “refurbished” laptop, and would aporeciate the refund. I guess I’m oldschool, and come from a time (not that long ago) when a seller would honor price drops on an item within a short amount of time of purchasing. I guess those days are over. Now I have to pay someone to repair the fan because I dont have time to send it back and wait for another one from the seller. Kind of BS all around. Once its fixed proper it’ll be a great little computer. Well hopefully.

screen is terrible and not clear from listing – This came with the “sureview” screen – press a button and it turns into a privacy screen. The listing did not say that. A quick web search shows this is common with this poorly designed HP screens – and the general advice is if you don’t need the privacy screen to skip it so you have usable viewing angles.

Bulging bottom panel, volume down button stuck – Unboxed to find the bottom panel wasn’t installed correctly (or battery is bulging) and the volume is continuously being lowered. Disabled the audio driver and it fixed that issue but then no sound.
