A good lightweight and fast laptop – I have been using this laptop for over three weeks now and must say I am pleased with it more than I initally thought I would be. I have not experienced the loud fan noise described by other reviewers. Considering my previous laptop with 8GB of RAM and 1TB HDD SATA drive, I must say I am very pleased with the speed and responsiveness of the SSD and 16GB of RAM which makes my old laptop seems extremely slow. The touchscreen is responsive and I am not noticing a lot of fingerprints while using it, even though I try to ensure that I keep my fingers clean before touching the screen.

Decent Laptop but annoyed by very loud fan noise – this is my second HP Laptop I took a chance on this one , hoping that it would really be a great buy , overall I am impressed with the quality of the screen , the processor speed , memory etc but I have to say this is the loudest fan I have every heard in a Laptop , especially when its quiet and you are working the fan noise sounds like an airplane, that is my one and only major disappointment

I decided to see if Intel had a driver for my 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1135G7 @ 2.40GHz processor. Fortunately, they did, so I downloaded their packaged installer with the driver. That fixed the ghosting. Then I ran the Intel Graphics Command Center that came pre-installed, and tweaked the Enhanced brightness setting, and the Contrast setting, to my liking.

This machine does not produce 1920×1080 resolution – Bought this well-speced machine for working from home and on the road because it was very reasonably priced for something with the advertised resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. Unfortunately, during setup it became clear that the max resolution possible was actually 1360×768. That’s not sharp enough for the work I do, so I returned the machine. The return process was virtually painless, and I received a full refund.
