Details – I hope you are computer savvy when you purchase this item. I ordered the top model with all additional memory. When the box arrived it has smaller memory on packaging. When I called the company they stated I had to open the package and turn the computer on to go into the settings to ensure the updates were installed ( thought that was weird). Then once I turned on the computer now, you have to set it up before the home screen appears. You have to turn on airplane mode to get past the Windows screen or look in just to go to settings and ensure you got the right product. Then reset the computer to factory settings to give as a gift. Way to much to deal with, especially if you don’t know about computers. There should be a disclaimer on this product stating instructions before purchasing just in case you don’t want to go through all the hassle if given this item as a gift.

Watch that graphics card – It’s cheap because the graphics card isn’t going to let you play any modern game. Other than that it’s fine. I check the requirements for anything you want to use this computer for and see what that program requires for graphics.

A little slow but seems reliable. – I got an HP Pavilion in 2016 or 2017 that I’ve been using reliably for years. Finally it got to the point where I needed an upgrade because it was getting too slow for me to do simple tasks or use for my work (teaching). I figured this would be a good upgrade but already I’m a little disappointed by how slow it’s already behaving and I’ve only had it for two days. However, I think I recall my original HP Pavilion being a little “slower” than the other models when I purchased it years ago so I guess it is to be expected. You can’t really beat that price!
