An impressive tablet for the price – I have been using this tablet for a week and so far I have found nothing to not like about it. Here are some of the reasons I really like this tablet.

Rear camera quality and key board interrupting WiFi. – First of all the customer service was excellent! Amanda was really polite and helpful. Unfortunately the tablet started to have problems with the WiFi since the first day that I received, there was WiFi but it says not connected…then with the days I started to notice that the WiFi was failing because I was using the Bluetooth keyboard. As soon as I disconnected the Bluetooth the WiFi was working again. I checked online about this and it looks like it is a common problem with the frequency that both (WiFi and Bluetooth) signal manage, they interfiere each other. At this point the options were change the WiFi frequency (from 2.4 GHz to 5GHz) but is not possible for this tablet and also my WiFi router is not dual band so no way. Or use a different keyboard with USB instead of Bluetooth but there is just one USB port so I had to choose between use the keyboard or the mouse that was connected via USB.

Keyboard doesn’t work – The tablet itself is great, in a “you get what you pay for” sort of way. I’m actually quite happy with it. But I cannot for the life of me get the keyboard to pair with it. It keeps saying that Bluetooth 3.0 keyboard cannot connect due to incorrect pin. But it never gives me a pin to type in, and the settings app crashes every second or third attempt. I tried turning both the keyboard and the tablet off and on, I tried plugging it in an pairing that way, etc. Nothing works. I got the keyboard to pair with my phone, but couldn’t pair the tablet and my phone together, so I know it’s not an issue with the keyboard, but some sort of defect with the tablet itself. It just doesn’t seem to have any Bluetooth capabilities, so I’m not even sure getting a different keyboard would work. Which is a shame, because the main reason I picked this slightly more expensive bundle over the dozens of other tablets on the market was because it came with a keyboard that I assumed would work, so I didn’t need to buy one separately or figure out what kind to get.

Tablet works great except for barcode scanning with the camera – I purchased this tablet to use with a mobile app for attendance tracking at my church, scanning barcodes from keyfobs to check people in. I wasn’t able to get the camera to work well enough to use, so purchased a bluetooth barcode reader to attach to the tablet. At first, I had difficulty getting anything to connect, including the keyboard that came with the tablet. However, customer support has been great and with their help, and now everything works great. When we are ready to implement this feature, I will probably buy several of these to use in different parts of the sanctuary. Kudos to the Jusyea-us customer service!
