Computer Wonderful – Battery Not So Much – I was hesitant to purchase a renewed computer. But I also remember that my other Macbook – purchased new – lasted 14 years, so even if I got half the life out this one I would be ahead. The computer itself is wonderful. Cannot tell it isn’t new accept for one aspect. The battery. It does not have much life in it. I was expecting to get at least 8 to 9 hours out of when in reality I barely get a couple of hours. And that is the ONLY reason I gave this review 4 stars instead of 5.

Mac Pro 15 inch great value; cords not good – This came in faster than expected and is a decent Mac Pro. My only complaint is it had the short cord with nicks in it and white out on it. I immediately ordered a new cord and extension. Didn’t bother seller because I felt the computer was good for the price.

Incredible value! – The thing I was mostly worried about: the battery. When I first opened it, there was a “service battery” warning, cycle count was 711 and the percentages were haywire. However, after leaving it charging overnight it went away. I spent a full day playing with it to test the battery and, whilst it holds a charge, it drains a little bit fast without forcing it too much, as a result of its age. So I decided to go for a battery replacement anyway to enjoy it even further, because my unit is really in a pristine condition. Only very few and unnoticeable scratches. Went to Apple for diagnostics, and even the technician was surprised how good the condition was (exterior and interior): everything was working properly. They told me the battery wasn’t needing a replacement yet but it was getting there and would be needing it soon. Nonetheless it would be good while the replacement comes, so I was perfectly fine with it!
