Great little Mini PC, come with Windows but not with Bloatware! – This little “Mini PC, Intel I5-8259U (Up to 3.8 GHz), Mini Desktop Computer Windows 11 Pro,4C/8T,16GB Dual-Channel DDR4, 512GB M.2 SATA SSD (Up to 2TB), 4K UHD,Triple Display Output, WiFi 2.4G+5G,BT4.2″ was a pretty simple setup. My only complication is that I didn’t have a corded keyboard and mouse readily available. So I ended up connecting my Apple trackpad via a USB cable to the computer to and borrowed someone else’s USB keyboard. Once I had it set up I was able to connect my Bluetooth keyboard to it without further complication. I really like that it comes with Windows 11 installed and doesn’t come with a lot of third-party or manufacturer’s bloatware. When setting up a new pre-installed computer, deleting bloatware is normally one of the first things I do. Instead, all I had to do was install a copy of MS Office and I was good to go. It seems pretty speedy and for as cheap as it is it comes with fairly new hardware in a very small box. I plan to use it as our new live-streaming computer at my church and it’s replacing a 10-year-old windows desktop, so even if not the top of the line for 2022 it far surpasses every single category for a 2012 computer. There are a good amount of USB ports and even dual HDMI ports which will come in very handy because I can tie it into our church’s projector as well. The one limitation is the minimal SSD memory. However, it has a really neat feature that allows you to basically dock a M.2 2280 SATA SSD/Nvme SSD or a 2.5” SATA HDD on the bottom of the computer for additional storage. I probably won’t need the additional memory, but it’s nice to know that it’s basically a plug-and-play option. Upgraded N5105 version, perfect for 4K – I have another mini pc from this brand and I really like it, its not a powerful computer but it is a good alternative to an EMMc laptop for home use. The main downside it has is that it claimed 4k support but it was very obvious that it was being pushed to its limits at that resolution. This mini pc has a substantially stronger cpu that absolutely supports 4k resolution. The previous pc has a j4125 cpu and this one has a n5105 cpu.
