Good selection for gaming & regular use – My grandson chose this laptop for gaming and regular use at school. Better price than the one he had originally picked out. This is birthday and Christmas presents rolled into one gift.

Happy girl – Had about 1 day of growing pains with this machine. It is advertised to come with windows 10 but did in fact come with 11. Instructions are lacking. I had to Google how to use the steelseries app to change up my color bar and keyboard rgb. BUT, once you get past the initial annoying things that should have been explained….the machine itself is great. Super fast and a joy to play on.

Well Balanced – I’ve run a few games and the graphics are excellent, it doesn’t lag(with a good internet connection) and it’s reasonably priced. It will need to be plugged in almost all the time, it is heavier than most, but if you’re without a permanent gaming setup (like a desk) or moving between places frequently this will work for you.

Does not actually come with Windows 10 as stated in the item description. – This laptop actually came with Windows 11 loaded onto it instead of Windows 10 Home edition as claimed in both the description and the technical details. I specifically chose a Windows 10 laptop i order to not have to deal with the horrible new layout of Windows 11. Instead of the normal round barrel plug for the power cable that all of my other Laptops have had (including a MSI GS 75 Stealth) this comes with what appears to be a USB plug. So any other older laptop charges you may have will not work for a spare on this machine. Also, as shown in the picture above, instead of having the normal recessed power button at the center of the machine above the keyboard, is has a power button at the top right of the 10 key pad, that is raised up like a normal keyboard key. That will make it very easy to accidentally hit it and put the machine to sleep. Horrible location to put it.

Excellent budget gaming laptop – I am actually posting this review in two places since I ordered the 2021 version of the GE 76 Raider Gaming Laptop and the manufacturer sent me the 2022 model – which was not the fault of the seller. The differences are; i7 12th Gen versus 11th Gen, DDR5 versus DDR4 and Windows 11 versus Windows 10. I made the decision to get the 2021 model due to some testing data that showed the 12th gen processor running a little hotter. Plus I wanted Windows 10 since I have a Windows 10 Pro license and could upgrade the home version to 10 Pro which has a lot of features over the home version I prefer. I ended up keeping the LT and re-loading it with Windows 10 Pro. Aside for those differences it is essentially the exact same laptop with a different processor, some additional cooling and faster memory.
