Can handle 4k rendering but gets very hot. – Like the slim and stealth look. The trade off though is the thermals. Can handle 4k editing, does get choppy sometimes during the editing process. The back-lit keyboard does not light up the longer words such as backspace only a portion such as “backsp” is visible during night time, secondary keys are barely visible to. Also the SteelSeries keyboard software is not communicating with MSI hardware. Tech support admitted they have an software issue and can’t cure the defects at this time. I ultimately sent the laptop back for a refund. Not worth the asking price of 3999 plus tax (4278.93). You are better off with the cheaper Gpu RTX 3070 Ti configuration. Even then the price is a bit high.

Beyond what I expected – As usual for MSI, it’s one amazing laptop. Honestly, I usually can Allways find a negative; I can’t really find one this time. If I’m pressed, It would be purely about its aesthetic value. The way the screen is attached is just ugly compared to the beautiful rose gold trim and placing of the screen (further back) of the last generation as well as the way it was attached. A true work of art. Big back slide there. But the insides and screen are jaw dropping. Highly recommend the seller EXCaliberPC, they offered the best price then anywhere else ( and it’s a reputable and well known store/website who sells products here).

returning fee? – heats up very fast, returned within 30 day period because of overheating, they charged me a 15% restocking fee lol… you do the math with how much they made off of me, make sure you do your research before buying from this company

Very cool laptop, great for work and gaming. – This has an infrared camera so it’s Windows Hello compatible and a fingerprint scanner too. It’s a high quality laptop. Very sleek and thin. I had a great experience working with EXCaliberPC: friendly customer service and responsive.
