This computer is very fast. – What I like about this computer is the speed. It is very responsive. What I don’t like about it: I have had this for 2 weeks and Windows 11 has crashed 4 times while I have been using it and crashed 1 more time while I was away. I do not want to return it yet but Windows 11 seems to be buggy. I have a couple of weeks to decide to return it. I decided to contact HP and they now have my laptop trying to figure out the Blue Screen of Death. Update: I received my laptop back from HP and 2 hours later I received the same error. I took it to an HP computer repair shop and they couldn’t duplicate the error. As soon as I got it back I got the same error. Now I am sending back to HP to see if they can resolve this. Sent back to HP for repair again on 8-13-22, After having my laptop in for repair 3 times, HP finally got it fixed. The last repair was for a faulty antenna. I have had 2 more BSOD issues sine the antenna was fixed. I spent 2 hours on the phone with tech support and they updated the BIOS again and 2 weeks later it happened again on 10-17-2022

Finally got a computer that is NEW! – I’ve bought two HP computers, both of which were advertised as “new”. Neither one was. They were refurbished. I was upset when I got the first one but decided to try it out. I loved it. However a few months later we had a devastating flood in Kentucky, everything was destroyed. Ordered a second one, it was fine for a short while, then had issues. I returned it and ordered this one. It is BRAND NEW and I’m amazed at how well it operates! Very fast and efficient! Also has the one year warranty through HP which the other two did NOT have.

Very nice utility laptop – Starts up fast due to the large 1 TB SSD. 32 GB of RAM keeps all the windows open and functioning you could ever want. Everything is to like about this laptop. The only downside is the limited processor. Having only 2 cores is a small limiting factor for some of the more intensive software. If you want a lighting fast laptop for general home use, this is the one and at a very reasonable price.

Know Your Display Needs – This is a revised review. I was very happy with this laptop at first, but I thought there was something wrong with the display colors. Certain websites looked washed out, and I spent many hours on the phone with HP Support, even sending the laptop to a repair center at one point. It turns out that this model only supports 6 bit color, not 8 bit, which should have been explained on my first support call. Instead, they spent hours by remote, trying to fix something that was unfixable. It was shockingly bad support from HP, and it came as a real surprise to me that modern laptops can vary so much in their display quality. I ended up returning this computer for one with a better display, and the seller was very cooperative in processing my refund. Again, the laptop itself was very good, and 8 bit color is displayed on an external monitor. But if you are using this for creative work and need true colors, just beware of the hardware limitations. Four stars for the seller, zero for HP Support.
