      Good Quality – We buy HP ink for our HP laser printer and have never had any trouble with any of them.

      Great toner, but you pay a huge premium for the HP name – Other toners print just as well, and cost half as much. You know that HP means quality, but do we have to pay such a staggering premium for their toner? Usually I buy refilled toner cartridges, HP did something tricky with their software, so I bought these to get a new set of HP chips that I’ll move to my off brand cartridges.

      Expensive Cartridge – Best Fit – We have a newer HP printer (M283) that has a chip in each of the cartridges. That makes it necessary to take the chip out of the used cartridge and put it into the cheap non-HP produced cartridges available on Amazon and elsewhere, if you don’t buy an HP cartridge . I tried one, but the chip did not fit into the knock-off requiring additional adjustments, but the chip broke. Many people have reported better success. After further investigation, it seemed prudent to just buy the HP cartridges made for the printer. It appears like a bit of a scam on the part of HP to sell you the printer cheap and then charge you exorbitantly for the cartridges, but this has been done before by others, and it is a marketing strategy that works. So, while these cartridges and the printer are great, you have to pay a lot for the ink. Our use is not very much, so it is okay, but if you print a lot of stuff, then it may be worth considering competitor’s products. I purchased all four cartridges at the same time. My opinion is not about any one color, so I am putting the same review for all.
