Good product for the price. – I purchased this product despite the negative reviews. My son gets carsick, and this helps distract him and keep him from throwing up when driving. It works fine. It was a little finicky when setting it up, but since then it’s been smooth sailing (as long as it’s charges). Battery life is decent.

No instructions. Maybe received one that was returned – Upon unboxing, there was no plastic around the dvd/player and cable not neatly inside box. Seemed to have fingerprints on it. No instructions included. Feel like this may have been used or returned. Took a bit to figure out but it does play dvds. Descent picture and audio…especially for the money.

It looks pretty but work’s horrible – My kid loves pbs kids. He screamed for months that is what he wanted for his birthday. The battery life on the screen last no more than 30 min. You have to keep plugged in order to watch the dvds. The screen keeps freezing. I wish this fun looking dvd combo worked better so my autistic son could really enjoy it. It’s a waste of money.

Volume—loud and cant turn down – I like that the kids can use this in the car to watch a video. The battery life is good. The volume on the other hand was very loud. Plus whenever you lower the volume it would work for the second you lowered it and then return back to the very loud volume. It was very annoying. Kids stopped using it after a few times and we unfortunately missed the return window.

Had alot of trouble with this device. – Was skeptical from the start because of the cheap price. Long behold, what “they say,” is true= YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. Yes, its awesome to find a device (in your Childs favorite color =green) that serves due purpose, DVD & Tablet. The DVD worked fine… the tablet took longer than expected to set-up and then kept turning off by itself once set up. SUPER aggravating. I charged it over night and it was okay for a day and then started acting up again. Also, it being a “PBS” device they cater to their network… so if your child isn’t SUPER INTO PBS this won’t be for them. I returned my device and instead ordered the AMAZON FIRE 7. Worked really well for 2 weeks for one child, so I ordered a second for another child and so far so good.
