Be patient with the steering wheel learning curve – I’m really having a good time with this steering wheel playing Forza on my Xbox one. So much so that I’m now shopping for racing steering wheel cockpit. I’m finding several of them between 70 and $100. But I think it would be so much better if the pedals and the steering wheel were locked in place. this set does come with a clamp to lock the steering wheel down to the table. But I have to bend down to reach the steering wheel and one of those racing cockpits would cure that. You can change the sensitivity of the steering wheel and the directions explain how to do it. there is a little latency on turning the wheel. Like a half a second delay. I turn the sensitivity up and improve that and also figured out that I needed to turn the steering wheel I have second before I hit the turn and also let off the gas completely in the turns. This improved my driving experience dramatically and didn’t ever really use the brake peda. The paddle shifters on the steering wheel change the user mode from behind the cockpit to actually seeing the car. I tried it all of the different ways and each one gives you a different experience. I learned that it was easier to negotiate the turns when I had the car visible on the screen as opposed to the cockpit. Using this steering wheel as much better than a hand controller. I’m sure once I get my cockpit that will hold everything in place, this game is going to get even more fun. I’m definitely happy with the steering wheel and would buy it again. I read a lot of good reviews that I read some reviews that were bad but I think these people didn’t understand how to change the sensitivity setting and probably were keeping the foot on the gas through the curves. I don’t think you can get it a steering wheel that won’t have a slight latency to it. You just have to adapt to that and turn sooner than you normally would to anticipate a little latency. It’s not rocket science and Forza is much better with the steering wheel and without.
