Great yoke setup! – This by far is the best yoke set up I’ve 8sed. Currently using it with Microsoft Flight Sim 2020 Windows 11. The only drawback is the yoke sticks a bit going in and out, but Turtle Beach and others says thta goes away in time and use. It’s not a deal breaker though by any means. If it wasn’t for that I’d have given it 5 star’s. Tons of programmable features and super fun to fly with. I’ve only had a 2 months or so hopefully that sticky yoke will go away. It has gotten better, but not completely gone. Soon I hope as I fly every day.

Perfect addition to the Yoke/Throttle – These were easier to setup then the yoke and throttle, I plugged in the USB and my PC immediately recognized as did MFS20. I like the additional pedals and adjustability to fit different planes and sizes. Highly recommend.

Trim wheel is not working (Update) – I love this controller – But nothing is happening when I turn my trim wheel – I believe it did work originally. Updated

Pretty Solid, Overall – After about 20 hours in MSFS on the Xbox Series X – here are my impressions:

Great Functionality – First off I gave 4/5 because the yoke is a bit sticky which makes it hard to be precise. You can adjust sensitivity to compensate but it’s imperfect still. (I am a student pilot with over 30 hours in Cherokee 140 airplanes).

Possibility of Being Stuck in Update Mode – Hey everyone, I just received the TB rudders today. It’s actually quite nice! I’ll give an update once everything is set up right and integrated onto MSF. Wanted to give a heads up. I followed the instructions that came with the rudders. I have an Xbox Series X, so everything is pretty much compatible with that. As you are setting up (and if you have an Xbox), you’ll notice the Y-cable that connects the rudders to the throttle and the yoke. Go ahead and connect it, and follow the instructions to where you have to change the settings on the yoke to include the rudders under accessories. Once you’ve changed it, the next step I followed was to do the update on both the rudders and the yoke. As of this writing, the rudders had Version 1.0.1, and did not need any updating. I then continued by updating the the yoke. For those that know, you’ll have to put the yoke to update mode. Once I was there, the update continued to fail, and the yoke stayed in update mode. I disconnected and connected it back to Xbox – nothing. I restarted the Xbox – nothing. I read on Reddit a few scenarios where people had similar issues (where the yoke was stuck on update mode).

Value for the money . – It’s a great all around yoke and throttle system ! If you catch it on sale for $320 like I did , you can make a safe decision on this setup . You have to spend $500 for both the yoke and throttle quadrant from Honeycomb. I am not saying one is better than other , but if you’re looking a for a bang for your buck , this is it . Logitech has one , but it does not rotate a full 90 degrees from detent .

Amazing 10/10 recommend – I kept an eye on Thai and looked up reviews for awhile nervous about it I plan on Xbox series x worked great right out of the box. Was easy to set up came with good instructions and was playing within 10 mins of unboxing worked well heard rumors that the throttle button only works on certain planes on flight sim but worked for single prop plains for sure would recommend this to anyone looking for a yoke compatible with Xbox. Very good quality has a jack for a head phone which is something y son racing base don’t have so turtle beach done a great job on this system!
