good hp laptop but not the best i ever had – For the price the Hp computer is all right no overall issues but it lacks usb ports like other Hp computers i’ve had that had more ports . this computer did not even have a lan ethernet port in case you did not want wifi . the processor with 16 gb of ram is sufficient and works good . the screen is not all that sharp and clear as other models. i would of prefered a higher processor speed though for the price. it did not come with an optical drive either for the price of 639.00 i feel it was lacking in the important feautures. i probably would buy an hp again as i have in the past but a different laptop.

So far so good – Windows 11 takes a little getting used to. The platform seems stable. I’m very satisfy overall. I didn’t want to spend a lot on computer for home use. I’ve owned Microsoft products which I’ve hated. This isn’t one of them. I would do it again. I prefer Apple but this makes good home laptop at this price point.

Made in China – I would have given 5 stars, but it is made in China. I only want to buy made in USA. Not a Touchscreen…I did not want a Touchscreen.

NO TOUCH SCREEN, no keyboard backlight – In order to force users to migration to Windows 11, it will not support some Windows 10 hardware, specifically the display driver. That’s smart marketing but it still pisses me off because I cannot migrate my expensive apps such as Acrobat Pro and PhotoShop Elements. Sigh. What made me choose this PC are the 32GB of DDR4 which could take better advantage of the CPU than less DDR. Strange that HP doesn’t promote the AMD Radeon graphics unit because they are more efficient… you probably don’t care. The 1TB SSD is nice, but I could have lived with a high-capacity Flash drive which doesn’t need wifi to access. I foud out only after I’ve put in the time and effort to set-up this machine that it has no keyboard back-light. I don’t care that this PC does not have a touch screen but many users want a touch screen. It’s weird to have the power on/off button along the top row of buttons instead of in a separate spot, but it doesn’t make much difference to me.
