I horde apple products – After trying to purchase the item at a different store, I decided to go with Amazon instead. I was tired of playing my Sims on my laptop because the fan was too loud and then learned that this computer can be used as a gaming computer… I became hooked. Overall, this was the best purchase so far this year.

A Fabulous Computer That I Enjoy Working From – First, I haven’t owned at home a desktop computer since purchasing the original Navy Blue all-in-one iMac back in the Late 90’s/early 2000’s. Ive since only had Mac laptops like the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air. Since I am fortunate enough to be working entirely from home these days, I wanted something that not only preformed like a Formula 1 car but also looked beautiful and simply put: nothing can compete with this iMac. This is the fully loaded version of the 21.5 inch monitor…. the 27 inch was simply too big for me and I have to say, the 4k ultra HD Retina display does not disappoint. I work for a tech company that requires sometimes very high rendering rates and Im amazed at how fast and how good it looks on this screen. In addition, it simply looks beautiful sitting on my desk. I couldn’t recommend this iMac higher. Ive been a fan since the beginning of the iMac and remember when Steve Jobs did the original Keynote announcing these to the world and 20 years later, Im happy to say the iMac is still the best looking and one of the best preforming desktop computers on the market.

I Love my Mac! – The New Apple iMac with Retina 4K Display (21.5-inch, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD Storage) is wonderful. I was going to wait until Apple put the M-1 chip in the iMac, but i changed my mind and I am so glad I did. The display is beautiful and sharp. My last iMax lasted 8 years – I’m sure this one will as well and then on to the latest Mac!

Solid state storage – Awesome computer. The high resolution display is so much better than my 2013 iMac. The SSD solid state storage is lightening quick. The old iMac had 1 tb hard drive. That was much more than I need and hard drives will eventually fail. They are spinning at 1000s of rpms. They will crash given time. I suppose an SSD can fail too, so I keep a backup of critical files. 256 gb of SSD storage is plenty for me. I love the rechargeable keyboard and mouse. Seemed like I was always changing batteries in the old keyboard and mouse. Love this machine.

Price is not too bad for a desktop Mac with wireless keyboard and mouse and a free year of Apple TV – The package Mac was in was far from pristine was very concerned product was damaged but it works fine for now.

Great Apple Product – until you discover a problem! – I love the big screen and the crisp, sharp images. It is fast, delightful, and such a great upgrade from a 13 inch screen. But what is worse than seeing your high-end product actually doesn’t deliver the promised beauty? I unpacked it with great excitement, and got back to work immediately. Opened my first zoom meeting only to see myself and my background in deep red/ pink tone! Everyone else was in their natural light/ tones, but I glowed like a traffic light! After the meeting, I tried the camera with the Photo Booth, but no change! I searched all the apple help channels, and followed all the steps that supposedly would solve the problem. None worked! When I saw similar complaints, I thought Apple must have already solved the problem with an update. I updated to new Big Sur, checked updates for Zoom, but it is still that super annoying red/ pink image on the screen! I had to set up a “genius” appointment for the earliest one, which is one week later, and I will have to take this huge screen with me, wait online and hopefully get help, which I am afraid will include everything I tried until they say “oops, product defect!”. At least Apple should be different, more careful, thoughtful I thought! I am very disappointed!

But the Apple – I got tired of Bill Gates and Windows. Every time a Windows upgrade came out you had to pay through the nose for it. So I changed to Apple and bought a MAC desktop. About ever year or two a new operating system comes out from Apple and it costs you ZERO dollars. Now for the latest and greatest MAC. Very thin design and light weight. You can read about all the bells and whistles so no need to talk about them here. Here is what I don’t like. There is no DVD drive and no flash card reader. The unit is too thin to have those features. So prepare to buy an external drive for CDs, DVDs and flash cards. But they are cheap and I don’t need them every day. For the home computer to do your average web surfing, emails, games, ordering from Amazon this baby does that in a breeze. The picture quality is so much getter than my old 2009 MAC desktop too. Yep the old MAC was12 years old and still going strong until a power surge took out my power supply. But it was time to get updated anyway. My old unit could not use Re latest OS BigSur. Recommended.

2019 iMac – Buyer Beware – Folks, despite this listing saying the release date of this iMac is August 2020 it was very definitely released in 2019. (Very easy to verify when you actually receive it). This, of course, explains the discounted price. I am confident that this iMac is brand new and not refurbished or “renewed,” but if you are looking for the most up-to-date iMac I suggest you head over to Apple.
